Leah White Joins ZenHill Records!
We are excited to announce that Leah White & The Magic Mirrors are joining the line up at ZenHill. Leah White is a family and children’s music recording artist that has been awarded the prestigious Parent’s Choice Foundation Award for her album “Sprinkler”. Her work has also been selected as a “Parent’s Pick” by Parents Magazine and as a “Family Favorite” by Nickelodeon.
In the near future we will be releasing some of Leah’s popular children’s records in addition to some of her new more “grown-up” works.
We have just released “Our Roots Are Strong”, Leah’s new album celebrating Houston’s 175th anniversary and its historic landmarks.
Our Roots Are Strong is an organization with a mission to inspire Houston’s youth about our history and need for preservation. It has been endorsed by Houston Mayor Annise Parker and The Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission. The project was created by Leah White and Sarah Gish with support from the Southwest Alternative Media Project.
The project will include a number of performance and associated events, a music video for the song (Our Roots Are Strong/Live Oak Trees) produced by ZenHill Records/Zenfilm, smartphone apps and more. Stay tuned for more news and events.
